Saints sign youth!

Southampton have continued to get new players in before the start of the new season against Millwall.

They have acted quickly to sign 3 players, all below 20 years of age.

Lee Sawyer has joined after being released from Chelsea in the Summer on free transfer, it is thought that he will make a handful of appearances this season as he continues to improve as a player and learn his trade.

Southampton have also signed 18-year-old big 6 foot 2 Striker Casey Thomas for free after being released from Championship side Swansea after last Season ended.

Finally Southampton have signed 16-year-old Scot CB and CM Cammy Howie. Not much is known about him but he is thought to be somewhat of a hot prospect! He will continue developing in Southampton's Under 18 squad.

Southampton Manager Dean Jones is reportedly pleased with the prospects of the new blood in the Squad. :)
