Hello and welcome to my very first Blogged- Football Manager career!

The BIG Southampton Challenge...

Right then, so it's May 31st, 2009 and Southampton Football Club have appointed me as their new Manager! I've supported The Saints ever since I first really loved Football from the tender age of about 6 or 7.


The Background...

Now to those of you who may not be too familier with Southampon, we were last in the Premier League in 2005, after many glorious years in the big time, and a total of 27 straight Seasons in the English Top- Flight, they now find themselves in the Coca-Cola League One, - England's 3rd League down.



After suffering for numerous years from an Owner who didn't know what he was doing, or had the club's best interests in mind, they eventually were made to pay the price.

But following further Administration and Relegation from the Coca-Cola Championship last Season, we finally have a New Owner in Markus Liebherr, who promises to put and end to the club's long-run suffering, and with a reported wealth of over 3 Billion Pounds, this guy is no pushover.

A time for new Heroes to step up...

Fans are now ecstatic with the future prospects in store for the club and are dreaming of a swift return back to the glory days where they witnessed club greats such as Alan Shearer, Kevin Keegan and Matthew Le Tissier!

So I have the club's future in my hands, can I bring the long awaited success the club and fans dream of? Come back to see!
